The fire alarm went off at 5:45 AM. It continued for 25 minutes. The night manager struggled to turn it off. They didn't know where the master switch was. The pool was advertised as heated, but it WASN'T.

i appreciated the continental breakfast with a good variety of options, including hard-boiled eggs. the kitchenette in the room was very convenient, with all necessary amenities. the hotel grounds were very well maintained, showing beautiful plants everywhere. the room had a fresh, clean feel.
The pillows provided were very hard. I had difficulty getting comfortable.

I found the kitchenette useful. It included many utensils. the staff provided great information about local attractions, a sweet gesture. ample parking space was available, a real plus! the room was super clean, i felt at peace.
the pool and wifi were temporarily down, though i was given a heads up.

landscaping is pretty. coffee is available at all hours in the lobby, always hot and inviting. the hotel has a dvd player in each room, offering free movies, which was like a classic touch.

the breakfast was quite reasonable, offering bagels, yogurt, fresh fruit, o j, and pastries! it was a lovely start to each day. the waffle machine was amazing!!! i never felt so happy.
